UPDATE: There has been a time change to 11am, due to my work schedule this Saturday. Also, we have room 135 TMCB for this week. Hope you can make it!

We won't be having a writing meeting this Saturday, due to the LTUE conference. However, we will be having a writing meeting the following Saturday, from 1pm to 3pm. By popular demand, our next writing meeting will be this Saturday from 11am to 1pm (the time change is to accommodate the book club, which will be meeting earlier in the day). We'll be meeting in one of he JFSB conference rooms, but I haven't been able to schedule a room yet. However, I promise I'll have all that figured out before Saturday. :)

This is also the deadline for the Apocalyptic Taco art contest, so be sure to bring your artwork as well.

Starting this month, we will be having monthly art contests based around stories submitted to the writing group. The goal of each contest will be to illustrate or depict one of the stories from the writing group. Hopefully, this will be really fun for the writers as well as for the artists!

The subject of this month's contest will be Apocalyptic Taco by Marissa. If you haven't received a copy of this story and would like to participate in the art contest, email me at onelowerlight@gmail.com to get a copy of the story. The goal is to illustrate the story in some way. The deadline for the contest is December 15th, where we will display the submissions in the writing meeting. Since this is Marissa's story, she will be the judge for the contest, and the winner will receive an issue of The Leading Edge.
