There will be a Lan Party on November 17th (this Saturday) from 1-6 PM. It will be held in room 206 of the JRCB (Law Building). This is fairly close to the ground floor entrance, so should make transportation nice and easy for those of us who are hauling desktops around.

The main event is Team Fortresss 2. We may play different games near the end (bring Unreal Tournament and Warcraft 3 if you have them), but TF2 will be the star attraction. Yes, everyone needs to either have their own copy, or borrow a friend's copy. There's no way to have one person's copy run on multiple machines at the same time. The game 'should' hopefully be accessible via the internet to people who aren't actually there. This still needs to be tested.

Everyone who's coming should bring a network cable (preferably a long one) if they need to be hard-wired in. We should have a wireless router available, so if you can use that, great. Also remember to bring power strips if you have one, and an extension cord or three would also not be a bad idea. Hope to see you there!
